Aquah Goddess: Apart from writing, I hold a BSc in Biochemistry and am currently planning to pursue a Master’s degree to further my academic and professional development. Alongside my studies, I help manage my mother’s retail business and also work as a content creator, where I engage with my audience and share creative content across social media platforms.
AuthorsWiki: Tell us something about your first book.
Aquah Goddess: My first book, Luna’s Secret: The Alpha’s Plaything, is an emotionally intense dark romance that introduces readers to a world of power, trauma, desire, and survival. It follows Luna, a young woman caught in a dangerous bond with an Alpha whose world is built on dominance and control, forcing her into a life she never chose.
The story explores Luna’s emotional breakdown and resilience as she navigates betrayal, forced engagement, and the destruction of everything she once knew. At its core, the book is about loss of innocence, psychological conflict, and the struggle between fear and forbidden attraction. As a debut work, it sets the foundation for the Luna’s Secret series, establishing key characters, emotional stakes, and the dark, addictive tone that continues throughout the following books.

Aquah Goddess: I am the author of several published works spanning dark romance, fantasy, drama, and African-inspired storytelling.

The series follows intense emotional journeys filled with power struggles, betrayal, obsession, and complex romantic entanglements, with deeply layered characters whose choices drive dramatic and often unpredictable consequences. In addition to the series, I have also written standalone titles such as His Submissive Kitten and Her Father’s Wife, along with African-inspired and folkloric stories including Igburukwu and the Forest Spirit, Adamma and the Royal Python, and Ekemma and the River of Wonders.
My current work in progress is My Possessive Incubus Demon, a dark paranormal romance that continues my exploration of intense, emotionally charged relationships, supernatural themes, and morally complex characters.
AuthorsWiki: Where did you get the inspiration for publishing books?
Aquah Goddess: I draw inspiration for publishing books from a deep love of storytelling and imagination, especially stories that explore intense human emotions, relationships, and transformation. A major foundation of my writing journey came from my mother, who played a key role in shaping my early love for stories. She bought me books, read stories to me, and shared African folktales that sparked my imagination from a young age.
As I grew older and began to read on my own, my mother would sometimes start an interesting story and intentionally refuse to finish it. This pushed my curiosity so much that I developed a strong habit of reading independently. Over time, I naturally outgrew children’s storybooks and began exploring my mother’s romance novels, which further shaped my creative direction. I am also inspired by African storytelling traditions, folklore, and my own emotional experiences, which help me create rich and engaging fictional worlds.
AuthorsWiki: How do you manage your time to write a book?
Aquah Goddess: I manage my writing time around my daily responsibilities, especially my work in my mother’s retail business and my other commitments. I don’t always rely on long, uninterrupted hours. Instead, I make use of focused writing moments whenever they appear, even if they are short.
I often plan my chapters mentally before writing them down, which helps me stay organised and reduces the time spent figuring out what to write next. When inspiration is strong, I write more intensively, sometimes completing large sections of a story in one sitting. During busier periods, I maintain consistency by writing in smaller portions.
AuthorsWiki: What is your favourite writing method—the one in which you write the most?
Aquah Goddess: My favourite writing method is immersive, emotional “flow writing”, where I write scenes as they come to me without over-planning every detail. I usually have a general idea of the storyline or key plot points, but when I sit down to write, I let the emotions of the characters guide the direction of the scene. This method allows me to produce the most work when I am deeply inspired, especially during intense emotional or romantic scenes.
I often write in bursts. Once I enter a strong creative mood, I can continue writing continuously, building dialogue, tension, and character reactions naturally without stopping too often to edit. After this flow-writing stage, I later go back to refine, structure, and polish the chapters. However, the majority of my content is created during those uninterrupted, emotionally driven writing sessions where the story feels like it is unfolding on its own.
AuthorsWiki: When did you start writing, and how did your interest in writing begin?
Aquah Goddess: I began my writing journey in 2018 on Wattpad. At the start, my work was very rough, and I often describe it as “abysmal” in the beginning stages. However, I remained consistent and committed to improving my craft.
My interest in writing was strongly supported at home, especially by my mother, who played an active role in my development as a writer. She would proofread my work and correct me, pointing out things like punctuation errors and the lack of emotional depth in my early writing. Although the feedback was sometimes strict, it helped me grow significantly.
With time, I kept practising, learning how to express emotions more vividly and structure my stories better. Gradually, my writing improved, and what started as a hobby on Wattpad developed into a serious passion and creative path that continues to grow today.
AuthorsWiki: Is there any special achievement in your life that you would like to share with us and your readers?
Aquah Goddess: I have a few meaningful achievements I would love to share with my readers. One of my biggest milestones is becoming a published indie author with multiple completed works across different genres, including the Luna’s Secret series, standalone dark romance novels, and African-inspired children’s stories. Building a full catalogue of books as an independent writer is something I consider a major personal achievement, especially considering how I started from beginner-level writing on Wattpad in 2018.
Another important achievement is the growth of my readership and engagement across platforms like Inkitt and Wattpad, where my stories have attracted loyal readers and ongoing interest. Seeing people connect with my characters and follow my stories has been a strong motivating force in my writing journey.
Academically, I also hold a BSc in Biochemistry and am planning to pursue a Master’s degree, balancing my academic path with my creative career. Overall, my most special achievement is my growth from a beginner writer struggling with punctuation and expression to a consistent author building a recognisable body of work and a developing reader community.

Aquah Goddess: Yes, I am very much actively writing and planning future publications. I currently have ongoing projects in development, including my work in progress, My Possessive Incubus Demon, a dark paranormal romance that expands my exploration of supernatural themes, intense relationships, and emotionally complex characters.
Alongside this, I continue to develop new ideas for both standalone novels and additions to my existing story worlds. In the future, I plan to keep publishing consistently across genres, especially dark romance, fantasy, and African-inspired storytelling, while also growing the Luna’s Secret universe and introducing new series. My long-term goal is to keep evolving as an author and expanding my reach to a wider international audience.

I like watching movies and series with strong emotional or fantasy-driven plots, as well as listening to music that helps me get into a creative mood. I also enjoy spending time managing my personal life, exploring new ideas for storytelling, and occasionally experimenting with aesthetics and visuals that inspire my writing worlds.
