Aslam Sheik : My latest book, The Light Upon the Eyes, explores themes of faith, self-discovery, and spiritual enlightenment. My previous work “ The Other Side of the Moon” center around themes of discrimination, introspection, and human connection.

Aslam Sheik : The inspiration for The Light Upon the Eyes came from my own experiences and reflections on faith and the unseen realities of life. Additionally, the encouragement from close friends and readers who resonated with my past writings motivated me to bring this book to life.

Aslam Sheik : The journey from writing to publishing has been both challenging and fulfilling. Writing requires deep introspection, research, and discipline, while publishing demands patience and perseverance. The process of editing, designing, and ensuring the book reaches the right audience is a rewarding experience that teaches valuable lessons about resilience and trust in one’s vision.

Aslam Sheik : My first significant literary work was “The Other Side of the Moon” that explored human emotions and relationships. It was through this story that I entered the literary world, gaining appreciation for the impact of storytelling and the way it connects people across cultures and beliefs. Aslam Sheik : My first book? The Other Side of the Moon has received incredible support and love, particularly because of its deep spiritual and emotional resonance. Readers have shared how the book has helped them reflect on their own journeys, making it one of my most cherished works.
AuthorsWiki: Who among your friends, family, or others gave you the most support during the writing of the book?
Aslam Sheik : My closest friends and family members have been my pillars of support. They encouraged me through moments of doubt and helped me stay focused on the message I wanted to share. Their belief in my writing kept me going.
AuthorsWiki: How many achievements/honors have you received from the literary world so far? Would you like to share some of them?
Aslam Sheik : While the true reward for me is the impact my words have on readers, I am happy to share that my book will be showcases in London Book Fair and Beijing International Book fair this year 2025.
AuthorsWiki: In which genre do you do the most writing? And is it easy to write in this genre?
Aslam Sheik : I primarily write in the genres of spirituality, philosophy, and reflective storytelling. While these genres are deeply fulfilling, they require a great deal of introspection, research, and careful articulation to ensure the message resonates with the audience.
AuthorsWiki: How do you manage time for literary writing?
Aslam Sheik : Writing is a priority for me, so I make time for it regardless of how busy life gets. I set aside dedicated hours, often in the weekends, when I can write without distractions.
AuthorsWiki: Where do you get inspiration for your literary works?
Aslam Sheik : My inspiration comes from real-life experiences, spirituality, nature, and the profound wisdom found in history and sacred texts. Conversations with people and deep reflections also play a major role in shaping my work.
AuthorsWiki: What is a special achievement or memorable event in your life that you would like to share with our readers?
Aslam Sheik : One of the most memorable moments was receiving messages from readers who said my book brought their old memories back. Knowing that my words have made a positive impact on someone’s life is the greatest achievement for me.
AuthorsWiki: Every writer has an ideal. Do you also have an ideal writer? And your favorite books that you always love to read?
Aslam Sheik : I admire many writers, particularly those who explore themes of faith, philosophy, and the human experience. Some of my favorite books apart from classical spiritual books, are The Prophet and The Broken wings by Khalil Ghibran
AuthorsWiki: Apart from being a writer, what other hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Aslam Sheik : I enjoy, traveling, engaging in deep conversations, and exploring different cultures. I also love reading Quran, as it allows me to capture moments that inspire my writing.

Aslam Sheik : Yes, I am currently working on my next book, which will explore the deeper aspects of storytelling and faith. It will delve into the unseen connections between our personal stories and the greater narrative of life.
